Arrival was smooth and welcoming. Parking was excellent; well arranged at the front of the hotel and reasonably secure, with good oversight from the front desk / lobby area. The room was clean and well presented, as were the public areas. The Bella Italia restaurant provided a very good and reasonably priced evening meal without need to go elsewhere. The service in the restaurant was also good. The breakfast service in the same dining space was similarly good - wide selection and appreciated.

The aircon / heating / ventilation system in the room was unduly noisy which was disturbing. It also appeared to be affected by constructive interference from other noise sources (probably adjacent rooms' equivalent systems and/or the bathroom fan) which meant the humming sound level varied quite considerably depending where you were in the room.

The cottage was clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed and the view over the harbour and out to sea lived up to expectations. It was the main reason we booked the property.

The steps up to the cottage were a bit of a challenge at our age but we knew about them in advance from the information provided by Alan and it would not deter us from booking again. We did find 2 easier alternatives which were more suitable for us when coming from or heading towards the town.

The apartment was fantastic, everything we needed was there and it was extremely comfortable including the beds. Tom the owner was really quick to respond to any queries we had and very helpful.

It was my birthday, I was incredibly lonely and sad, the girl smiled at me and was polite and friendly so I went to my room happy and watched movies on the excellent WiFi.

Excellent location, walking distance to everything. Clean apartment, owner left some bread, milk and snacks, which was lovely.

For me personally the bed was rather uncomfortable, I woke up with a bad back every morning. but it might just be me. The bins (belong to the pub next door?) outside the apartment always stank very badly.
