Positive section of review
Majority of staff lacked good customer service. 1. Not enough check in information given. E.g. Wifi, tv, spa times , Fire regulations, directions to facilities etc 2. Facilities were not clearly or boldly signposted or labelled e.g Resturant and spa etc. 3. Not all rooms have the same decor. Some decorations are dated e.g carpets and curtains. The rooms in the annex are slightly better standard. 4. Rooms need net curtains to keep privacy while main curtains are drawn for sunlight. 5. All rooms should have bath robes provided especially if labelled a spa hotel. Or distinction should be mentioned on the website if different or additional pricing required. 6. The sauna was completely cold one of the nights we stayed. 7. The seats in the steam room looked dirty so we stood while in the sauna room. 8. Given the busyness of the weekend the jacuzzi water should have been changed. It looked murky on the second night of our stay.

It was very spacious, tidy and comfortable. Beds were lovely. The garden is a good size. The showers were warm. The location was ideal, in a lovely area and only a 7 minute drive from the train station and 3 minutes from a large supermarket.

The kitchen could have been stocked better. There were only 4 sets of cutlery even though the property sleeps 6 and we were unable to find any oven gloves or baking trays for the oven.

Everything was wonderful. The cottage was gorgeous, I loved all the little touches, the bee hooks downstairs matching the bee knobs upstairs, the plush carpet in the living room, the baskets with throws in them snuggling under, the patterns carried through the whole house, it was just great. The property manager was very accommodating and let us in immediately, the wifi was excellent.
