The place is excellent close to the tube station and a bus stop and a small Selfridges shop. The flat is spacious and warm with a well equipped kitchen. In the bathroom there were toiletries. In the kitchen cupboard on the right you can find the reduction into the plug and a lot of useful tools.

The communication with the owner wasn´t very good. For the keys we waited for 90 minutes on the street. We weren´t told how to lock the flat (put the handle up), so it stayed open all the time. The wifi didn´t work at all. There aren´t 2 bathrooms but one bath with a shower and two toilets. It is impossible to set the lukewarm water in the shower, it´s always hot but you can have a bath. In the flat there is a steady noise from a machine room next to the toilet. We missed a tea towel and litter bags. The flat would be excellent with a better maintance and care.

Excellent location with a comfortable room and a pleasant breakfast.

Steep stairs to room which was quite stuffy in warmer weather as opening the window was very limited and only a thick duvet was provided which was too hot.

All the rest. The room smelled like a damp, moldy cellar. Even airing the room didn't help at all to get the smell out! The ventilation in the bathroom didn’t work. In the night water started dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom leaving a little lake on the floor where you’d step in barefoot in the middle of the night. The lift didn’t work either. Very run down! Just wanted to check out as quickly as possible. I wouldn’t complain if the room was 30£, but for around 135£ that’s just a simple no go!

My only complaint was that I was overcharged for my evening meal. Unfortunately I didn't check my reciept when I paid and didn't notice until I got home. I had been charged for a starter that I didn't have and was also charged for an extra (scampi,bread and butter). Although I don't normally complain about cost.( we all need to make a profit)A one course fish and chip dinner with a pint of lager at approx £38 was imo a tad expensive.

The processes and staff at Bijou bar are PATHETIC and Ridiculous. We had a meal at the venue. I gave my room number and we ate our meal. No one came back for any kind of service after that so we left. We went back to our room and 2 minutes later our phone rings and someone demands we need to go back as we didnt sign the docket. The hotel only gives 1 key which activates lights etc so my partner was in the shower so i couldnt go down to sign the docket THAT SECOND so i waited for my partner to finish shower before going down. 5 minutes later the phone rings again with the staff demanding where we are and threatening to charge a fee for us not signing the docket. In a 4 start property would expect if something like that is so urgent the LAZY & PATHETIC staff could have come up to our room with the docket and we could have signed it immediately. I went down, signed their docket then couldnt get back to my room because you need a fob to activate the lift so i had to call my partner to come and get me from downstairs. I dont come from the belief that the "customer is always right" however in this case where basic customer service could have been used and everyone would have been happy.
