Room was massive, clean, comfortable bed, amazing shower. I loved the big windows too. The food at breakfast wasn’t the best, a bit bland and rubbery but lots of choice and the pastries were nice

The location was great, sitting outside listening to nothing but the waves 🌊, not too far to walk to town. Staff ver very friendly and helpful and always had a pleasant greeting for you.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but other guests letting their doors slam shut at night, no consideration for others. NOT the hotels fault. Would have preferred to have been on first floor as a single female traveller, not on ground floor. All n all it was a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was the typical hotel buffet. Fewer fresh meats, cheese and fruit than I like. Greater emphasis on the traditional English Fried Breakfast.

The evening meal. Dishes offered were the standard burger, fish and chips, pizzas, pies. The setting was very casual and run by a separate company to the hotel so charges could not be added to the room bill.

They accepted our booking yet they knew very well that the sofa in the living room was broken and couldn't be used. They were also not clear on which lock box had the key and made us look very suspicious trying to open lock boxes that weren't for the said flat. Even though parking is mentioned in as part of the booking, the parking slot wasn't specified in the booking and we inconvenienced a resident within the block by using their parking which was labelled as the number of house where we were staying. It only came to our knowledge towards the end of our stay on what parking we should use. The customer service team managing the house kept telling us to park outside the compound yet that parking was payable and we would have been liable for a ticket because we didn't have a resident's permit. The house also stank, because there is no effluence pipe in the toilet even with open windows the house was stinky. Unfortunately, they promise toiletries and we were only provided with 20ml of soap for the 3 of us to use during our stay. The internet password wasn't easily available and it turned out that it was the Passkey for router and this came to our knowledge towards the tail end of our stay. We only used it to sleep as we had no choice and there wasn't anywhere decent to seat in the living room. They knew about all these issues and didn't bother letting us know before check in and I have several emails confirming all these and have since been ignoring my emails.

Sooooooooooooo noisy The room sound proofing was rubbish, I could hear people talking on the corridor, not just the sound, but their actual words The plumbing system was loud all night I generally don’t mind the rumble of the tube when staying in London, but combined with the rest of the noise it was just too much. Granted they did provide ear plugs on the bed … but the noise didn’t match the brand concept of sleeping well . For the price I expect better soundproofing.
