We had a wonderful stay at Byrdir House. The hosts, Adam and Tracy, were very friendly, chatty and helpful. We felt relaxed and comfortable at the Byrdir and enjoyed delicious breakfasts and several drinks in the lounge from the well stocked bar. Byrdir is well located to explore several interesting places such as Portmeirion and Criccieth. Harlech itself is interesting to explore with several eateries, shops, a lovely beach and of course the castle to visit. We would definitely return to stay in Byrdir and miss the very comfy bed! There is a car park too which was handy.

Spacious, clean and quiet rural situation yet easily walkable to local pubs/restaurants/fish and chip shop and Co-op store. Only 2.5 miles from Sherborne and its castle and 21 miles to Bovington Tank Museum, 8 miles to Haynes Motor Museum and Fleet Air Arm Museum. Six good sized bedrooms, each with a sink. 3 bathrooms/toilets ( all upstairs ).

Nothing really, one should expect the farmyard smells that come with the territory ! Only extra in kitchen is a tub of salt ( no pepper ), so you will have to bring all other provisions if intending to cook/eat in. Fairy liquid and dish water tabs provided with tea towels but no paper towel. Noisy fridge freezer.

It was absolutely disgusting, I walked in and walked out. It’s a health and safety matter. The owner of the B&B said the photos on the booking. Com website were from the previous owners from Years ago. You couldn’t even sit down on a chair because it was absolutely filthy. The host said he would agree to refund us.

Very clean room. Easy access to Heathrow and to central London. Quiet neighbourhood, yet close to transit, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets. Friendly and accommodating staff. Updated washroom. Luggage storage. Consistent wifi.
