The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Our hosts Mikael and Julie were friendly and welcoming, they took the trouble to give us local recommendations and directions and everything in the room was absolutely perfect. Lovely views from the window too, and a comfortable and absolutely beautiful residents lounge. Level access from the parking and patio area at the rear. So many thoughtful touches as I am sure every other guest has already mentioned, they even left a card wishing us a happy Anniversary! Fresh water in the fridge every day, milk biscuits tea and coffee were provided, fresh towels etc, nothing was too much trouble and it felt like we were saying goodbye to old friends by the time we left.

Bit of a steep walk up from the harbour but there is a bus but my little dog struggled to walk it up

The location was a 10 min walk from the station and central to a lot of the conference centres in Sheffield. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby for food. A decent iron, ironing board and hair dryer were provided on request.

You get what you pay for. It was basic but fine. The rooms with no windows are a bit claustrophobic.

Easy self check-in and check-out, with clear instructions for everything. The WiFi connection was good. Everything was very clean. We appreciated having 2 pillows each, and the bed was comfortable.

It would have been nice to have 2 keys for the room, but my friend and I were able to manage with one key.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good value, excellent location for the town and Bournemouth Pavilion
Positive section of review
Its location was excellent for touring around and for finding places to eat.

Our only concern was being next door to a pub which was very busy because of the celebrating patrons during this EARLY MAY BANK HOLIDAY. We needed to have a phone with a UK sim card in order to contact the owners to gain access to the accommodations...a problem if we weren't prepared. The info was embedded in an email that we saw later once we logged in using the free wifi.

Just a one night stop-over, so suited our purpose.

Felt a little uncomfortable, four of us, sitting in the small kitchen, whilst our host was cooking the breakfast in the same room. Would have preferred a separate dining area, away from the kitchen.

Location.

Decrepit, old, tired and grotty. Worn fixtures and fittings dreadful worn old mattress, dirty carpets, moldy silicone in bathroom, dark and dingy. Basic unhealthy food, in general misleading literature and images with smiling wedding guests, this is not the reality. AVOID.
