Hotel was clean and comfortable in a good location with a warm welcome. Breakfast had a great choice, was fresh, well presented and tasty. Bar area was fine to sit in. Car park on site.Food waste reduction ideas and donation for leftover pastries going to local charity to support people in need is a great idea.

£5 daily charge for car park seems unjustified, particularly for disabled guests. Could do with more disabled spaces as they were difficult to get. Chairs near tv on right hand wall in bar are far too low for the table. Air conditioning in Room 110 could not be set or operated - permanent red fault light,except when unit decided to randomly try to start, making terrible noises, at 4.30 am, 5.30 am and 5.45 am, disturbing sleep on each of our 3 nights.

Nice location, just outside of Windermere town centre, excellent lake views. Dog friendly, play area for dogs to run around in enclosed area. Staff were friendly. Breakfast good. Didn't use pool but it looked lovely.

Not suitable for more than 4 people - both toilets within bedrooms so not easily available if sleeping on bed settee Needed clearer detailed information beforehand as not easily accessible for disabled - quite a few steps, nowhere to leave mobility scooter near entrance Wifi not working Lamp with no bulbs No tea towels - couldn't find sink plug/washing-up bowl No bins available (in stated place) to dispose of rubbish

The hotel was well located for my needs, Eccles does need rejuvenated. The wetherspoons pub is very cheap. Excellent transport links

Waiting 30 mins for waitress to take order,another 3o mins to be told sorry about delay kitchen was short staffed, the 35 mins later to be told they didn't have what we ordered, the place isn't near anywhere so as we had had a couple of drinks we couldn't drive anywhere so went to bed starving after a very long day of traffic jams. Nothing proper to eat , there was only 20 people in restaurant the menu was small as a head chef could of knocked out all 10 tables in a half hour, to many staff not doing anything and a kitchen that can't do more than 1 ticket at a time ,and no breakfast in morning so over all complete wast of £100 , so not happy at all
