      These comments I'm giving have been given for years and nothing has changed. Not even a bowl to put cereal in, or a plate or the facility to wash and dry a mug. We were a two night stay and had to buy basic crockery etc. Providing a toaster or microwave would have made such a difference. Wi fi was hit and miss and the whole stay was soured by the tone of the instructions left re stripping beds, putting out rubbish....we'd already paid £15 for cleaning. This apartment has such potential and as a group of four we have stayed in different standards of properties in different countries and we have never been asked to do the housekeeping. There still isn't it an anti slip bath mat and the toilet seat still needs attention. I think this is a one stay property ....perhaps if the owners were to stay there a few days as tourists they would understand all the same comments people have been making.

      The food. Daughters porridge was rock solid and she needed to add 2/3 of a pint of milk and lots of jam to make it edible. I ordered a cooked vegetarian breakfast but asked for no egg and no sausage. I asked if they had any mushroom. When breakfast arrived ( it took ages) it was half a tomato that looked like it had sat for a week. It tasted of fish. Sliced mushroom which was very over done to the point of being inedible. A potato scone and some beans in a dish. They also were overdone. The toast was cold and floppy and underdone. That said, the following day they were short a waitress and were running around like mad but the food was faster and had not sat as long(aside from the beans). Dont get me started on the coffee. The room was tired and had a broken bathroom suite. There was a brand new tv but no remote. The front of house staff did resolve this but the television was not connecting to the hotel wifi and would have not been watchable had my daughter not connecter her details to it. The beds were uncomfortable and we could not turn the heating off or down. The cups in the room were not very clean.

      Hotel staff very helpful and accommodating. My room was very clean and spacious.

      I did hear the people quite loudly in the room above me when I went to bed , but they were having such fun ! I knocked on their door and nicely explained I could hear everything they were saying . They were very nice back too and quietened down. It was fine for me , but maybe not so great for people who went to bed early.

      no carpets in rooms means it’s not so comfortable and doesn’t feel clean on your feet. air conditioning is now also not strong enough - gets hot. had to ask for a fan in the room.
