Location was superb, exactly as I’d hoped. Breakfast was also superb, Sarah the owner was very nice, chatty and helpful, there was no little fussy rules you might break, you could treat the guest areas as your own home. It’s a no frills place where you can help yourself to books or use the fridge etc. Walk 100 metres past the house and the views are even more amazing. The dogs that greeted us and the neighbours dogs were all super friendly. Lovely holiday. The 1 mile lane to the house is narrow but plenty of passing places so no worries with that.

No tv but good internet so I watched tv on iPad. It’s basic but got all you need including shampoos etc.

Location was excellent ..rooms were very comfortable clean and tidy..staff were pleasant and helpful .i had a nice shower. i am very happy with the stay😊😊

I couldn't experience the dinner because the time I got back it was closed the dinners closed at 9:00 so was the swimming pool and the gym they were also closed at 9:00 so I didn't really experience the luxury's that came with the room one thing I was disappointed in when I was driving up at 5:30 the traffic was so bad I got up there at 9:30 and so I missed a lot of stuff

Very disappointed that the room wasn’t ready on arrival as they had a problem with late arrival of linen. Not necessarily their fault but frustrating as I’d particularly requested an early check in and it was actually late. Also, I was on the third floor and the lift wasn’t working. I was very tired so it really wasn’t ideal. Offer of a free drink in the bar wasn’t really good enough compensation.

Place we had booked had a leak and was unavailable. Wasn’t notified until arrival and then had a 1hr 45 min wait before being given another place but wasn’t given a ‘like for like’ replacement. The replacement would have been good value for money for a family but wasn’t what we were after. If had been notified earlier would have had time to find a suitable property nearby ready for a stay as this place hadn’t been fully cleaned as not expecting guests I guess.
