The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The central location was great with a couple of pubs practically across the street. It was located a walk from a pub with food and no restaurants were nearby but it is really a self catering stay with a commual kitch and dining area. We had a comfortable and enjoyable couple of nights.

The room was small. We hadn't realised that there was only one breakfast option that of eating in a cafe (which was very good) and a greasy spoon - looked fine, didn't try it. The local bakery (closed on Sundays) didn't have croissants or similar - our fault we should have done more research.

Very very friendly, welcoming staff. Great dinner. Dog friendly and made a fuss of her. Bar area was not noisy. Close to Wells and good walks. Private car park and large garden. Loved big bedroom.

Tha peace and quiet. Being surrounded with beautiful scenery. Well thought out for such a small space.

Fabulous aspect, location, grounds, and facilities. A nice health club. The staff were all great too..

The decor was a bit tired. We had a nice room overlooking the grounds and views of hills. But it’s noisy in a Saturday night if there’s a wedding on - lots of people were hanging around drinking outside.

Loved the lay out of the room. Plenty of space. Perfect for our party size. Room was fun.

Table hadn't been cleaned, pool of water on the floor. But was easily cleaned by us.

Deliveries by lorry from 0500 -0700 in the service road beneath the window each day we stayed on both occasions which meant that we couldn't sleep from 5 am then at 0700 the kitchen extractor fan which was just outside the window too (3rd floor) started until 10-45 at night. Having mentioned this on both occasions we were advised that if we were moved to another room then we would face a similar problem with road and pedestrian noise. This is a noisy environment throughout and probably not suitable for those who are looking for a little peace and quiet, granted it's City Centre, however, I feel better windows would help those that don't like being woken at 5 am each morning.
