- “The modern retro look in room and the amazingly decorated corridors made this place my favorite hotel. I had the luck of getting an airside room and could see nighttime operations on the runways. Certainly a place an AVgeek would love. The small touches like postcards in room and great amenities like shaving razor and cream were much appreciated. The "secret" rooftop terrace where you could sit and watch operations at the airport 24/7 was wonderful. Staff were all lovely - one manager was even greeting people outside and leading them in to the lobby.”

- “The apartment is far from the crowd. Small village in the south. Big balcony. You can watch the petanque match from it. Very nice beach is about 3km. You can use a motorbike. Stephane can give you for very cheap price. The old town, the Big Buddha and many beaches you can ride in 20 minutes. I will go back to Stephane for sure. The best is you can see the sea from your bed. The morning is beautiful. The best place for breakfast is only 50 meters from the house. Many good restaurants are 5 minutes by walk.”

  Near to Rodney Parade for football, ten minutes very slow stroll. Very clean and tidy. Lots of tea and coffee provided, a convenient shop for milk a few minutes up the road. Location is not as bad as some reviews led me to believe. There are a lot worse I have seen and stayed in. Friendly staff and customers at the Wetherspoons nearby(Godfrey Morgan, 158 Chepstow Road, NP19 8EG)

  Only the lukewarm shower, although I was probably the last person in the hotel to get up. Reception is not open all the time if you need it. Not a problem for me to check in, as the phone number given was answered immediately. Pillows are very firm, I prefer softer. Very much a personal choice, in my opinion.

  Location was very good, could walk most places and only 6/7 to piccadilly where you could get a tram £2.80 for 24 hours. The breakfast was good 8-10.30. Staff friendly. I was on top floor and didn't hear any noise from the pub next door or downstairs

  Like in other reviews the hot water pressure is low in the sink but ok in the shower and again as in other reviews only soap in bathroom i bought my own shower gel & shampoo but no complaints.

  Impeccably clean. Simple but with everything you need - kettle, towel, mug, glass and items to make a hot drink. Use of fridge, microwave and crockery in the dining area which can also be used for socialising. Good water pressure in the shower.

  We stay at the Marine for its location and accessibility for my husband's mobility scooter.

  We only did bed. We found the beds in room 126 comfy, but the above room and guests and very squeaky floor boards disturb our rest time and sleep. Floor boards definitely need renewing.

  Bus confusion where google maps implied the bus came off the main road. Some do, some don't, and the one we wanted going back to Woolacombe didn't. Obviously not the properties fault.
