Lovely location, lovely building, lovely room. The staff were excellent and could not have done more to make my stay enjoyable. They were looking out for my arrival, helped me find somewhere to park, and ensured I had everything I needed. They were attentive, friendly and efficient.

It would have been better if the curtains in my room had been blackout curtains. The sun filled my room with light quite early in the morning.

Cleanliness left alot to be desired- seems like they have only one cleaner that vacuums and mops the kitchen floor and wipes down the kitchen surfaces, empty the bins and that's it. Lockers were very small Bad wifi in the kitchen

The property was so clean. Alison was very helpful. The breakfast in the room each morning was so relaxing. Really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, as it was a Wednesday, the restaurant was closed and we would have liked to eat there with relatives in the area, we would also have liked a seating area in the room, but neither of these issues would stop us from staying again.

The people that own the house live down stairs with two kids that don't stop crying only stopped at 5am room is so tiny every time you leave the front door owner living down stairs looks out the window massive gap in the bedroom door u can see everything from it. There is cctv watching your every move the cctv looking at your bedroom door at 11.30 at night the camera went off u can hear talikg from it the people that live down stairs watching it but they did not no they had the volume on but wort of all locked out by the lady owner for over 1h as she stands there watching me out the window her husband end up calling me asking I'd I left the main door open in the night I told him no I did not the lady from downstairs did not want me back there they even got there little boy son to come open the door will never stay again made me fill very uncomfortable stay away people

No sound proofing from next room’s TV but I guess that’s tricky to prevent in such an old building. Evening menu was somewhat limited and food was ok.
