Scam dont book they are scam I asked for details of property never gave them told me I would get them at 3 which was lie when I got there at the property I was told they have one bed available for me when I refused and asked for refund was ignored its a scam cant believe booking .com allowed it

Great little pod; good WiFi and Smart TV, perfectly functional kitchen and shower, and comfortable bedding and lounge/living area.

The hosts were not facilitating or welcoming. In fact, they were non-existent. Having contacted them a week prior to arrival and then 2 days prior to arrival (via booking.com) requesting assistance on which specific turning I should be taking to locate the property - on both occasions they simply ignored my query and resent me the generic welcoming email. One comment even mentioned the hosts being so lovely as to provide eggs and bread for their stay - for us, we couldn’t even get them to speak to us and answer our query. Bless my lucky stars I found the place. Had I not, the hosts would have been of no help.

While the staff were working hard for breakfast I had a tight timetable attending conference; some of the breakfast food took too long to come out and I ended up starting the day with a piece of toast and a side of disappointment.

The management sent maintenance workers round without letting me know first twice! 1st time I was asleep as I had done a night shift so was woken up and the second time I Walked in to find some guy working away. Just think they should at least let you know if someone is going to just let themselves in.

I didn't feel comfortable staying there. I was afraid of breaking anything due to charging me a £300 deposit on top of the price to stay, which wasn't stated until you had completed your payment through booking.com. I couldn't cancel as you couldn't get a refund, so had no choice to fork out another £300. Customer service I found very Impersonal too. Only being able to get in touch though message through booking.com. There was no real person to call and welcome you, see if you needed everything. I guess it may just be me and I'm old fashioned. It's 2024 and everything is automated and impersonal these days. So yes I would have enjoyed it more if I could have relaxed..
