location very good , near train station and city centre, near the meeting place of our travel bus, the host friendly. the host called the taxi for us , very helpful. breakfast at 8-9am, we have to go to trip before 8am , the host open the breakfast room for us, so we can have milk, orange juice, cereals, fruit, bread etc. And we can make coffee tea at our room. So very good service

the heater of the room works only by control of the host, we had heater the first nigh, but not more heater the second night

The hotel location was excellent. Head doorman Paul Rushworth was very friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions of places to visit and bus/ train connections. The staff went out of their way to decorate our room for our anniversary leaving some unexpected treats for us to enjoy. We'd like to say how much we appreciated all of your kindness.

The property was clean and comfortable—a delightful little place tucked away behind the owner's house. It had all the facilities needed for a holiday and was in a very convenient location. The owners were lovely and, while we didn't need anything, I'm sure they would have been helpful if we had.

It’s not that we didn’t like it, but with the bed downstairs along with the sofa, chair, and TV, we felt the large room upstairs was wasted. It had a small sofa and chair, but there was no point in going up there to sit when it was more comfortable downstairs. If the bed had been upstairs and the sofa bed downstairs, it would have provided much more usable space. There was a large wardrobe downstairs, but one door couldn’t be opened because the bedside table was in the way, limiting the accessible space. As others have mentioned, the roll-top bath was quite awkward for showering. We were also not impressed with having to pay £30 for our little dog. The listing did state charges might apply, but we were only informed of the £30 fee after booking. This was for a small dog that makes no mess, so it’s unclear why it says "charges may apply." The price should be stated upfront since the charges seem to apply regardless of the type of dog.

Superb location, lovely restaurant/breakfast room and, best of all, I was given a large room with king size bed as a free upgrade as had only booked a single room - lovely surprise!

Was grateful for the swimming pool and did use it on arrival, however, the whole leisure facility is very much in need of updating (or at least redecorating).

Bar was lovely and food and drinks good quality. Good selection of cocktails! :) Room was clean and tidy, I did however ask for a double room and given a twin, but no problem.

My bathroom had stairs in it, which was a bit strange, wouldn't be any good for someone with mobility problems.

The staff were super friendly, the room was immaculately clean, the bar and restaurant were very pleasant. Transport links into Glasgow and to the racecourse were excellent.

The noise! Although we were expecting some noise after reading about the hotel, we did not expect it to be so loud! Our room was situated over the bar area and the bar speakers are situated on the ceiling which meant they were directly beneath our bed. Sadly we would not stay again unless we were guaranteed a room at the back of the property.

There's a lot of attention to small details in this place, which I absolutely loved. The room also came with board games and some snacks. What's not to like?

Flat has beautiful spacious rooms that collect light and are pleasant to be in. Kitchen is well equipped and the location is fantastic.

Entry porch is grim, looks like it hasn't seen proper cleaning or attention in years. The shower unit has black mould growing which meant we chose not to use the shower during our 3 night stay.

The room we originally had unfortunately an awful smell of smoke and green as it seemed someone had been smoking in the room even though it was a none smoking property but the staff were very accommodating and changed us room although to a slightly smaller room our stay was still very pleasant
