Tranquil village location, fabulous garden at our disposal, spacious luxurious en-suite room, comfy mattress, off road parking, solid wi-fi, friendly hosts, no complaints. Very kindly let us arrive and have our room 2 hours early and also great plus being allowed to store our tandem in the garage. Very handy having good size fridge in the bedroom (albeit we turned it off each night due to noise, think it may have been on a timer). Convenient 5 min drive from Woodhall Spa golf course.

Taking shoes off upon entering the house is ok as long as you don’t slip on the shiny new carpet on the stairs or the uncarpeted first 2 steps.

The food was exceptional at dinner and breakfast. Service was superb. We arrived late because of traffic issues but were still fed and watered! One of the best steaks we have had. A very talented chef. The rooms were really clean, good and quite quirky with very generous amount of drinks and bathroom bottles provided for guests.

I love this place! The staff are friendly, the location is amazing, beautiful back garden with summer house and conservatory, great breakfast, comfortable beds. What is there not to like. This was my second visit and I will definitely be back.

The house was a lot bigger than we were expecting, it was easy to find, with good onsite parking. It was very clean, and had everything we needed. (Including an unexpected welcome gift, which was very much appreciated).

Location somewhat off putting, not helped by extensive local building work. As is par with most hotels only 1 chair in a double room. Why is this? Could do with a shelf in the bathroom. Nowhere to put a washbag. Room210.

Phoned reception as hairdryer did not work. Waited 20 minutes and went to breakfast with wet hair. Hairdryer found outside room when I left hotel much later. Not acceptable.

Kirchen- dirty cutlery, last tenants food waste on the floor between cupboard gaps. Facilities such as salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar not provided as stated. Bedroom- Bed frame so squeaky it disturbed sleep. Lamps that didn't work/without bulbs.
