Big hotel right in the middle of Ullapool. Our room was a good size, and the bed was amazingly comfy, I slept like a log. The decor was good, and you can see that they are investing money into the property. We didn't eat in the restaurant but we did go into bar in the evening. The barman was very attentive, and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Drinks are not overpriced, unlike some hotels.

The staff were really lovely! George on the front desk was great really helpful with our checkout time. Also the cleaner (didn't catch his name, think he was Spanish) was really nice, helped us with clean towels and toilet roll, aways asking if we needed anything when seeing him. The staff is what makes the place good

The bathroom was an issue, I knew the rooms would be small but trying to manoeuvre in the bathroom was very difficult. Could also do with a fan or some sort of Aircon in the room as it can get very stuffy with a room with no windows

We got the instruction how to enter the carpark and the flat by message, was very easy. Clean and big rooms even for 6 people. 2 bathroom and 1 kitchen. Easy to travel to the centre by public transport. I can highly recommend this accomodation.

Lack of parking, but we were able to get parked along the front, and the hotel provided us with a permit, which was only £2 for the night.

The breakfast was superb. Close to the beach. Hosts were very helpful and nice. The area was quiet and safe.

The “polite notice” about a fee if staining white towels with make up. I would suggest to have small dark “make removal towels”.

the shared kitchen was dirty (probably due to others not cleaning after themselves!) and the water butt (white) doesn’t work well and the other water carrier was empty
