Positive section of review
Small apartment in a small house in a calm location, absolutely sufficient fot a shorter stay. We´ve been there three nights and made trips to London centre and to Harry Potter studios. Bus to London centre near, apartment was clean and nice, with TV, wi-fi, Netflix. There was a few small shops (opened from early morning till night) literally few steps from apartment.

Could be little bit more equiped with dishes. There were four of us (which is the number of persons for which the apartment is intended) and for example there were two or three plates or bowls and we can´t eat together and we had to take turns with bowls etc.

Breakfast was tasty - though you had to choose between fruit/cereal/croissants/cereal and a cooked option; we prefer a small bit of each but ended up with just a huge cooked breakfast. The welcome, decor, cleanliness and bed were great. The room was very quiet and dark at night.

The Wi-Fi does not work and the plumbing needs attention. The toilet paper is appalling. We had a poor dining experience - a waitress with long hair that she ran her fingers through (a pet hate); no lamb option (not informed of that until half way through our starters); and a poor fillet steak - but the manager did everything he could to put things right/recompense us and deserves credit for that.

Everything! The lovely reception staff, Ayesha in particular was very welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was super. We were lucky enough to be given a free upgrade and enjoyed a coffee and biscuits in the executive lounge.

Nothing that could be changed but the location is rather odd, practically in an industrial estate. There's no pavement for pedestrians but probably when the hotel was built it was an assumption that everyone would use cars or taxis - but now in greener times, more people use public transport and need to walk from the bus.

A place I/we stay during my visits home from working full time in the south of England. The kings head have great food, great beer and social areas and the rooms are stunning. It's a pleasure to stay here. Every time!
