This is a brilliant little place in the centre of Hereford, only 5 minutes walking from the cathedral. It's got a lovely conservatory overlooking the river where they serve lunch and breakfast (they don't do dinner, but there are lots of nice restaurants around). Breakfast was wonderful, the menu was nice and the food superb. My room (I had a junior suite) had a beautiful view onto the river and garden and was just lovely with nice details like a basket with regional treats or sherry. The bathroom was spacious, the toiletry luxurious. What else? Yes, they have private parking (which is free for guests) and very convenient, situated just behind the hotel. If you can afford it... go to this place! It's worth the money!

Check-in was a bit odd. There was nobody at the reception and when I found someone to help, he was a bit harsh, if very competent.

Arrived early to beat the check in queues which can be long when an event is on nextdoor. Room was very clean, spacious with a large bathroom. Large TV, free Wifi and good selection of tea, coffee and free biscuits. Had dinner in the Sky bar which is very pricey, but a decent burger. Good views across London. Stayed for a show at the Arena nextdoor, you can't get a closer place to stay! Bed was huge and very comfy. Slept extremely well with no noise. Breakfast was superb, one of the most tasty buffet breakfasts I've had. Went back for seconds.

Aircon was noisy, but set it to 'Auto' and it quietened down. Breakfast was extra which made the overall price very expensive, but location is hard to beat.

Location was good, was a Saturday night so had a few loud(ish) people roaming outside. But didn’t feel unsafe and just opted to close the blinds. Bed was comfortable and clean with lots of pillows. Lots of amenities like oven, microwave, fridge, temperature controlled heating. Even had a hairdryer in the bathroom which was nice

Nothing really, the dining chairs were a tad uncomfortable but we just sat on the couch instead. A second bedside table would have been lovely as I had to put my phone in the wardrobe drawer! But that’s just a nitpick it was funny to partner and I, we survived!

The room was adequate. Usual facilities, en suite shower and toilet, although the room we had (twin) the sloping roof above the toilet area made it a little awkward to use. The sink drained very slowly too.Beds were comfortable and provided a decent night's sleep. We only ate breakfast here and that was very good.

Unfortunately our overnight stay started with a sour note. Told on arrival to secure our bikes in the garage at the rear of the property we were approached by a mature looking lady who on seeing us started to speak to us in a non professional manner. Her tone was sharp and bordering on aggressive, she didn't seem happy we were storing our bikes in the garage. The next morning the same lady brought part of our breakfast meal and again her attitude was poor with no customer service skills and made no effort with customer service.. A shame because the rest of the stay was fine. Kinross itself is a lovely little stop over.

Sofa wasn’t very clean ran out of elec as soon as I arrived had to wait over an hour for elec covered in sand kids weren’t pleased didn’t get told till after I booked and paid that all facilities were shut down only booked it due to staying 2 years ago and had a lovely time at the pool and clubhouse but after paying £165 for 1 night I was not happy at all should be offered a refund
