Positive section of review
The room was clean and comfortable. The Bnb has been run by the same family for almost 40 years and had a very homely feeling to it. They were warm, welcoming abd friendly. It was my first stay there, but I almost immediately felt as if they were old friends. It was quiet, close to local bus routes, and we loved visiting the Buddhapadipa Temple, which is a short bus ride away.

There was honestly nothing. If I was being very fussy, I could say the option to have a hot breakfast (a continental breakfast is available) But there are several places a few minutes' walk away, where one can have a cooked breakfast.

The architecture of the hotel is amazing and the surrounding nature and scenery as well. The staff is nice and helpful. I haven't tried the restaurant for the other meals than breakfast. The breakfast was alright. The usual English breakfast. I wished I had the opportunity to stay longer and to explore the footpaths but my job was calling...

On my departure date there was some loud noise outside at about 8.30am. My room window was facing towards the back of the hotel. It sounded like someone decided to slam some giant milk metal cans to the soil. Eventually the sound stopped so I couldn't figure out what it was.

The hotel felt a little like a boarding house, rather tired. However, the room was spacious, the receptionist was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great. The added bonus of an indoor pool and steam room was welcome.

To use the steam room you need to give 20 mins warning to get it turned on. However when I then went back someone had turned it off. Maybe there should be a notice there to ask guests not to do so!

Amazing location, a little bit unusual breakfast deal, you get the food in the evening and keep it in the fridge. But it was nice. I liked it, the muffin was very good and you can eat in bed.

I have a weird complaint - I think there were too many cushions on the bed. Something like ten different cushions that I did't know what to do with, I usually sleep without any.

The location was easy walking distance from the town centre. The breakfast was tradition English Breakfast and freshly cooked. When I had a concern the staff was most helpful.

It was a little tricky finding the property - the 'Office' was a cafe/kitchen beside the building housing the rooms. Some signage would be helpful. The bed was a trampoline and not particularly comfortable.

The location was spectacular; easy walking to the Tube, Reagents Park, Baker St, etc. Being a lone traveller I had a 'matchbox room' what was to be expected.

Pastries at breakfast were not flaky as you’d expect from a pastry. Some quiet background music needed in my opinion at breakfast or tv news on … too quiet.
