Our two bedroom apartment on the ground floor was spacious, nicely renovated and the sitting room at the front had a park view. It was very comfortably furnished & the small kitchen included a washer/dryer. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms quiet, as the windows were double glazed. We were a couple and a single relative who stayed 3 days. We found the location great for sightseeing and for accessing Waverley station.

A water heater in a cupboard in one bedroom created considerable heat which might be an issue for some in summer.

The flat was perfect for the 3 of us. The owners were very attentive and responsive to our needs. It was very welcoming, warm, stylish and bright. Good location to get the bus into town or a 15 minute walk from the train station. The bus 1 stopped at the door which was the bus we had to take to get Euston train station. That was a bonus.

The very steep stairway up to the flat it was fine for us but not possible if you have mobility issues.

This is a gem! Nothing has been missed in the room. Welcome scones and cream, jar of cookies with tea and coffee, chocolates at bed time with a nightcap! I had port. Breakfast was on schedule, huge, fresh and delicious. So many towels, 2 sinks, and a variety of home from home gadgets.

Parking for me was a little challenge due to the road the house is on, but nothing major. I wish I had stayed more than 1 night to really enjoy the hospitality; so have to return.

Location was excellent as very close to beach where rowing competition was taking place. Staff were very friendly and willing to get up to provide an early breakfast for us.

We liked everything about the property, I did find exiting the property when turning right difficult as a lack of visibility but obviously this is just its positioning. A small pointer, as two ladies who are not overly tall reaching those all important wine glasses would have been easier if there had been a step stool! Obviously not a problem for many people though.

Dont bother as man on reception very unprofessional and rude! Breakfast that is 'included' in the price advertised as a full English etc but what was on offer was 1 yoghurt, bread and cereals. Spoke to man at reception who jumped down my throat shouting it says no cooked breakfast online ( which is a lie). He was very unprofessional and shouted in front of other guests. Pool table downstairs broken, dart board broken with no darts. Lifts death traps. Very run down even though its supposed to of had a refurb?? Can't see where. Uncomfy beds and pillows, 1 switch operated all lights? I don't usually moan but hotel atrocious and staff worse!!
