Foxlow Grange is an amazing, special and unique way to experience Buxton and the Peak District. Contact from the team at Muse Escapes is excellent. We received plenty of information and individual e-mails responding to our queries. The on-line guide to the apartments and surrounding area is first class. Parking is easy and the adventure begins as soon as you open the front door! The decor is baroque and this adds to the special holiday break feeling. The rooms and bed are large and the communal area/kitchen/living room was spacious and stylish in our apartment. The walk into Buxton is around 20 minutes, and a cab each way is around a fiver. You can walk from the door either into town or out onto the hills of the Peak District. We would heartily recommend staying here for any reason you like! Party, family gathering, walking holiday ... Follow Grange will make your stay memorable and special.

There was no draining board and some rooms are a bit dark with poor lighting and mirrors (hard to do make up), but all the foibles are forgiven as the property is so amazing!

Great set up, in a good location. The cottage is very quiet, really well equipped, cute and comfortable. Perfect for two. Fab location for cycling (road and off-road) as well as walking. If the opportunity presents itself to be in the area again would definitely book Juniper Cottage.

Location was quiet. Hotel and room was very clean having been recently refurbished.

View from room looked over all the rooftops no view in fact. Room quite small and shower room very small. The coffee at breakfast was awful. Breakfast OK but in spite of the bacon advertised as grilled it was hard and greasy.

Very disappointed in our stay. I booked 3 family rooms and got 2 and a triple. So we had to share. One room was infested with flies all over the walls and beds. When I went to reception the man plonked a can of fly spray and said spray the room! I said what do i do then as my daughter is asthmatic. He said he can move us and have us a double room. Which we couldn’t fit it and the room stunk of weed as well as the corridor. He then gave us another 2 doubles and we had to move back to the old infested room on the second night. Which was the closest room to a loud wedding disco. Why would they allocate that room to someone who wasn’t apart of that party. We had an event to go to early on both days and we were exhausted by the end of the weekend due to the drama of the hotel situation
