The room had a lovely view across the harbour. The food was good - far too much on occasions but, apart from buffet on Saturday, always HOT! Staff friendly and helpful. Swimming pool clean and door opened very quickly each time I visited. Grounds are beautiful. We were so lucky with the weather - forecast said cloudy each day but we had wall-to-wall sunshine. Local bus service (hourly) passes the end of the drive - used our bus passes!!

There are 30 stairs to climb in the main hotel - no lifts. Not too much of a problem but worth noting. Swimming pool is very shallow at one end and small - not good for proper swimming if more than 5 trying to do the same! Buffet breakfast on Saturday was warm but no where near as HOT as it was on previous days when brought straight from the kitchen (that was lovely!!). Grounds have walks but they are usually up and down hills! Bed was a small double bed!

Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was exceptional. Perfect location for visiting the O2 and for seeing sights in Greenwich such as the Cutty Sark.

Rip-off price of snacks and sweets. £1.50 for a small chocolate bar which would normally sell for around 70p. Such petty profiteering makes little sense when I'd already paid nearly £400 for two nights.

TV dated could not watch Netflix as the TV was not a smart TV, but not a problem as I was not there to watch TV.

Not a major issue but there was no hair dryer as my wife didn't bring hers. So if you see the photos of the walk and there is a woman with flat hair that is why! (Just a bit of humour)
