Very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable homely room, large king size bed walk in shower. An old Manor House with historic feel. High ceilings low lighting. Large free carpark. Two dining areas with quirky window view from separate room. Open fires in winter. Lovely grounds and quiet. Punching well above its star rating. Dinner menu a little pricey but Mitchelin * chef. Presentation, taste and quality made up for this.

Poor reception management. Dispute 2 emails with room updates, and a call to discuss, no response. Went to hotel personally on checkout to make sure everything was in order and despite this one of our guests was told they did t have a second night booked. Had reception dealt with the two emails and call this would have been obvious. Additionally one guest was still asked to pay for a prepaid room and was told

We loved that the tea & coffee was freely available. The coffee was excellent with the added bonus of honeycomb syrup! The staff were super friendly and always available to help with our queries. Hats off to the housekeeping team as the hotel was immaculate! Great, easily accessible location in the city centre. The beds were super comfortable and we had a peaceful nights sleep.

I'm scraping the barrel here as we can't think of anything that could be improved, so possibly free bottles of water in the room.

Lovely house in a gorgeous area. Photos are accurate, property was clean and had all the facilitates needed. The hosts were friendly and provided lots of helpful information that made the stay enjoyable. I would recommend and would not hesitate to book again. Thank you!

Jackie and Nigel were excellent hosts. The house is tastefully done and a relaxing place to be in. The evening meal and breakfasts were delicious. We cannot praise Nether Dallachy highly enough. Thank you Jackie and Nigel.

An en-suite bathroom would be a good addition but this isn't a criticism. Nether Dallachy is wonderful.

No lift. Dirty carpets. Rickety food stained chairs in dining room. Cooked breakfast was buffet style. I think the fried eggs had been out a while. Sure they would have cooked fresh if I had thought to ask.

On arrival staff was welcoming. And checked us in well.

On exit the staff was rude and half way through a conversation just answered the phone... So I just left after 5 mins of standing there waiting for an answer. The room was dirty, the mattress was stained and had huge dirty marks and the room had a bad smell.

Dated, tired room. 1st room, taps in bathroom not working, room felt dark, balcony was grim. We were moved to another room which was much better and brighter. TV in bathroom didn’t work. Dined in the bar, which was dark, dated and tired. Food ok, small portions.

Our room number 66 was under the stairs, so quite noisy.
