Positive section of review
Location close to popular street for shopping and restaurants. It is near the botanical gardens which were pleasant to walk in. The room was pleasant as was the person who welcomed us at reception. It was terrific being able to use the kitchenette to prepare our breakfast. Car parking on site was also a bonus.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. Utensils in the drawer in the kitchen were soiled which was disappointing. There was one glass only as a water tumble to share between two people. The toaster needs replacing! It cooked the bread on one side only! Have provided feedback to reception staff.

Great for those looking for a place to stay at a great price. We had everything we needed. The staff explained everything and the place is well secured. Easy access to Anfield or the city centre.

Occasionally you can hear sounds from other rooms, but it's nothing terrible. The operator is not usually present during the evenings but we personally did not see a problem.

Electronic door system we struggled with until we got used to it - needed assistance remotely. Water pressure in room in morning was poor once several people were trying to use it. Rear surroundings of hotel downmarket, but belie what hotel is like inside.

It was conveniently located. It had a pool.

It was too warm and stuffy in the bedroom . The room was ‘tired’, the floor and furnishings worn. The staff kept the bathroom clean but it was damaged. The floor was not vacuumed all week. It was noisy as we were right above the kitchen!
