The ease of booking. The room was ready early which allowed us to leave our bag. We were allowed to leave our car on the car park all day. The room was clean and comfortable. Refreshments and toiletries were available. Breakfast, especially the coffee was good.

Great location for what we needed. Very quite in the courtyard and clean. Booking the parking was very easy. Nice friendly neighbour who talked to me and gave me some local information. Bev was very helpful with all my questions before the stay.

Not the property it was the building works right outside the the room we booked. We knew there was some going on, but didn’t realise how bad it was going to be, from 8am to 8pm on the Monday night. Also all the roadworks going on, and road closures. Took a while to get there but lots easier getting out. I would say make extra time to work out how to get to the property.

Great that the staff made arrangements for us to arrive very late (midnight) and provided means of access for us, in spite of the George having been closed much earlier.

Breakfast was purported to be a "contiental" breakfast. There were some instant oat pots left and some ordered coffee ... no continental style parties / meats or anything .... So that was a bit disappointing

Car park was far away. Room was small and had nowhere to hang coats. Also needed repair. 2 Light bulbs not working ,loose tap,window couldn't close. Mould on ceiling in bathroom.

Location excellent. Hotel and facilities perfectly adequate. Staff lovely.

We had to ask to change our room, as the one allocated had not been refurbished and was not at the level of quality I was expecting for the price paid. The bathroom was tiny, shower just about did the job and we overlooked building work going on. The room we were moved to had been refurbished and was very good. The lady at reception was very helpful and made the switch very easy.

The arrrival instructions were not provided and I had to ask for them. The blinds in in living room were broken and the blinds in the bedroom were poor and did not stop the light getting in so sleeping was difficult. There was no bowl or plug in the kitchen sink so it was very difficult to wash up!
