A nice little relaxing room in the heart of a big city. The hotel is ideally located (just 5 min away from Paddington station and Hyde park), which makes it the ideal place for a lone traveler willing to explore the big city at his own pace. The place is clean, tidy and suitably furnished. The breakfast options were simple, but plentiful and the team always made sure we felt comfortable.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to our room, which was spotlessly clean, overlooking the garden. Breakfast was plentiful and hot which set us up for the day, served with a smile. It was good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room and fresh milk kept in a fridge just outside. Beautiful area to stay near Loch Ken.

We struggled to get up the drive on our initial arrival but after that we got the hang of it. Although there were places nearby to eat there wasn’t that much choice so ended up driving a distance.

The room was very old fashioned and bot in a historical sense just very dated however, I did book a cheaper room and it served its purpose the building and mutual areas were beautiful and historical especially in dinning room however still needed specialist care and attention to damp on ceiling.

The room was very outdated even for a budget room just feel I would have got more value for money at a travel lodge for me ans my daughter the grandure didnt live up to the price and I've had better accommodation in Blackpool BnB and that is saying something.

It was a self catering apartment in a quite area, the apartment was big enough for the 3 of us and had everything you needed in there, it was about 20 minutes walk to town

The lift we should have used to get to our bedroom was not working so we had to go through to another building to get to a lift with our cases through a Warren of hallways and steps, in fact we had to phone reception to find our way down for dinner as there were no signs to guide us and a receptionist came to guide us. The television was also Not working. No air conditioning and window opening very restricted.

Disappointed that the Sky Bar is closed on Sunday’s. That is surprising for an international hotel. We felt it was a shame the Clipper Bar had no views of the river. We found the opaque glass rather oppressive. We guessed the opaque glass probably covered parts of the roof. Solution……. Raise the floor of the Clipper bar!! (the ceiling is certainly high enough) Easier said than done I know but it would make for a 500% improvement.
