Excellent location, very close to the centre of town but in a quiet, residential area. Good quality bed linen, and beautiful bathroom with both a shower and bath - immaculately clean and spacious. Nice touch with little snacks on arrival. Dined in the restaurant on a quiet night. Perfectly acceptable fare.

We had a cosy bedroom on the lower ground floor to the front of the hotel. Remarkably little noise from the street, even with the window open. Unfortunately, noise from the restaurant upstairs and fellow residents in the corridor disrupted the peace. Pillows firm, even a little lumpy - not the best night's sleep!

Great location for what we needed, really good value. The team were really friendly & helpful. It’s a little bit worn but I’ve stayed in hotels that cost twice as much that were no better

Beautiful location. Lovely sea view from the terrace. Lovely terrace, garden. And nice and soft towels in the bathroom! Also very lovely and friendly reception and bar staff.

Beautiful location, but i regret to say that rooms are advertised on hotel's website as "luxurious offering style and comfort" - our was certainly NOT. We expected lovely room for the really high price we paid - it was NOT as described! First of all is very dated - feels like you'd be going back 30-40 years. That wouldn't be an issue, but - as soon as we entered the so called "luxurious" room - massive very visible damp corner on the ceiling.... COLD shower, that just wouldn't warm up... lamps above beds with thick layer of dust - certainly not dusted for months... dirt and dust behind curtains on window sills by terrace door.... no fridge in a very expensive room ! On top of that a wedding was taking place in the hotel and the wedding guests came up at midnight, stood right outside our door talking really loud, swearing and laughing - woke us up and kept awake for a good hour. And we were expecting to have a good rest after nearly 5 hours drive... Although I have never ever complained about a hotel - but this time I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with the state of the room and not happy having paid a massive price for something that is NOT AS ADVERTISED. Certainly not worth £180 per night, I should have been charged quite a bit less and should be given a partial refund.

It was not clean, the kettle was not working and was unclean burnt from Inside. When we contacted the owner, no help was provided. No replies even next morning.Bed is extremely uncomfortable also pillows have a headache. Overall very unsatisfactory stay.

The shower head was dirty and water flow was slow Pillows was so poor quality The mattress was hard Athe view from the room was a dirty roof top hygiene was really poor The furniture and door paint was all scuffed up and dirty I’ve stayed at other village hotels but this has put me off for life !
