  What a great place to stay! I'm from Brighton, and I can assure you that if you want a panoramic, uninterrupted sea view, with a dedicated parking space AND be pet friendly, AND within walking distance (we don't mind a 40 minute walk) of the town centre (and the cute village of Rottingdean in the other direction), then I defy you to find a better place. I could wax lyrical about the house, but instead I'll put it like this - I would buy it, as it is, equipped and furnished as it is, without batting an eyelid. It's even decorated to our taste. What's more, our hostess Tara always responded promptly and very helpfully to any additional queries or requests. Thing is, we'll only go back to Brighton now if Happy House is available, anything else will feel a come down. It just FELT great staying there. P.S. the attached photo is me having my morning cuppa on the front patio. Just behind my hand is the parking space, with the marina in the background.

  I can't think of a thing that isn't wholly unreasonable (e.g. waiter service, private chef, heli-pad), or incredibly petty.

  Comfortable well appointed accommodation, lovely garden, quiet area, excellent location for seeing north Cornwall. Cheerful, approachable and knowledgeable hosts.

  Blinds on velux windows in living area would be useful , woken to early by daylight, it was very warm during our stay, a fan would have been welcome.

  Handy location especially to Waverley station and to all tourist attractions. Very friendly staff. Clean and professional.

  The first room had a strong smell coming from the bathroom but staff immediately looked into it and we changed rooms. So it was taken care of immediately.

  Stayed 2 nights 1 on before holiday and 1 on way back. Both rooms were ridiculous small. Extremely small beds. Taxi on way to airport £25. And on way back £29! Was shocked this is not what is advertised. Breakfast was hot yes but so dried been sat under the heat lamps far to long. Couldn't eat most. Very disappointed.
