1. What did I think of breakfast? How is that a relevant question to ask about a self catering holiday? There are lots of good things I could tell you about this place but as the review question specifically asked me about breakfast, I made porridge, it was fine. 2. The location was good. Its a quiet place with a few shops and restaurants, and safe sandy bays ,ideal for families

A bath mat would be good. Wet feet and a tiled floor are not a match. The rest of it was well stocked with everything we needed.

Very comfortable, gorgeous scenery and Georgina is an exceptional host. We used it as a base to see the local areas and always lovely to come back to this lovely room. The breakfast every day was fantastic and the yoghurt pots the best thing we ate each day. Highly recommend this peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

Great location just a few steps from the Cleveland Way. Very close to the hotel so no need to drive (or walk) for food and drink. Very quiet with nice outside seating in a sun trap. Overall rating excellent, we will definitely book again.

Because we are not familiar with key boxes, we struggled to open it because we didn’t realise there were release buttons ON BOTH SIDES. The box is close to the fence as well so the left button is less obvious. Maybe a reference to this would help in the future. Possibly a meet and greet would have helped us overcome the key problem more quickly.

The hotel is quietly located. Lovely grounds and well placed for my needs. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent.

Room and bathroom are quite small , however they are quite adequate for a short stay where you don’t spend too much time in the room. Also I thought the price was good value.

The location was great. Lots of free parking. Amazing staff. Location is ideal.

The room was far too hot. We were also not told all the rooms were different so my parents ended up having a tiny room even though they paid for every one. They should have told us. There was a generator outside our window which we couldn’t have open as it smelt of steak and food, no fresh air whatsoever. The corner shower was also so tiny, especially in comparison to the big room. If that was the case, we should have been charged different for the two smaller rooms! The portions of food were also tiny for what you pay.
