Debby gave us a courtesy message when the accommodation was ready for us to arrive early. She went above and beyond to make it special for my Aunties birthday. A lovely welcome pack was there on arrival and the fridge had brilliant amount of condiments. The children were very happy with the toy box that was left out. This kept them nicely entertained. The area was beautiful! A short walk to the pub for dinner worked really well for us. We were in the area to visit Birdland at Burton on the water so it worked really well.

The coffee machine was broken by the previous occupants and they didn't inform Debby of this so we missed out. But lots of instant coffee/ an amazing choice of tea was to hand.

Location is great! The room was plenty big enough for myself and my partner and the bed was very comfy.

These rooms are not cleaned properly, this is the second time we have stayed at this location, two different rooms and both have not been very clean, last one we had there was brown, what looked to be faeces on the bathroom door lock. This time there was brown smears on the door again, very noticeable and not at all very nice. For the price we paid being £99 for one night, the cleanliness is not up to standard. The toilet roll holder was broken so every time we went to use it, it would tilt and have the roll almost come off, I tried to adjust it and my hand was then covered in dust, there was dust on the bin too, and when my partner lifted the toilet seat to use, there were splattered fluids, from what seemed again to be faeces on the underside. The tv remote was covered in dust to along with stickiness and other debris. Premier Inn is cheaper and a lot more clean but we choose this as it’s closer, I know there may not be enough staff, but as I myself am a cleaner of similar situations dealing with rooms, this is not at all what I’d leave it looking like. There was also hairs in the shower on the floor of it.
