Great location for exploring Marazion and west Cornwall. The house is a good size and well equipped with great views over to St Michael's Mount. The master bedroom (upstairs) had a lovely new ensuite with freestanding bath and power shower. Handy shortcut to the shops/beach etc. at the back of the property through the pub car park.

The house does feel a little dated, the downstairs living area and bathroom in particular could do with a refresh. The biggest down side to this property has got to be the access and parking. The road leading up to the cottage was very narrow with a tight turn at the top. Parking on the drive was difficult due to the narrow road and narrow entrance to the driveway. We just about managed to get our car in on day one (Volvo XC90) but we then asked if we could park in the pub/hotel car park as it just wasn't practical getting the car in and out. The staff at the pub were really friendly and let us use the car park for the week. This made access so much easier.

All the staff without exception made me feel very welcome and looked after. I particularly appreciated being given a window table on my second morning for breakfast.

I was underwhelmed by the vegetarian and fish cooked breakfast. My dinner was also a disappointment in the Bistro. If I had been able to check the menu before booking ( not just photos) I'd have gone elsewhere. Not a great choice for vegetarians considering where I was staying. I'd have liked a fresh fruit salad to with your excellent granola and yoghurt instead of tinned.

nice property with a professional staff. Clean and big rooms and the sweet smell all around. Lots of food points and recreational options near by.

Scarcely a minutes’ walk from Exeter Central station the staff are always very welcoming and the rooms immaculate. The WiFi is excellent too.

Really good location although really remote. The fact that the accommodation could sleep 6 was good and really good value for money
Negative section of review
Accommodation was a little tired, and quite a lot of cobwebs high up in the skylights. (Slightly of putting when sleeping under them). The hot water was poor and, although asking the staff to fix, they couldn’t.

Good price and location.

Parking was very challenging but it doesn’t take away our stay and how much was around for easy access to transportation
