Stow on the Wold, United Kingdom
Positive section of review
The room was perfectly located a few steps from the central square of Stow-on-the-Wold, which is a charming town in the Costwolds. The room was comfortable and quiet. The restaurant and pub are a short walk away. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries within a short walk from the lodging. The classic walk from Stow-on-the-Wold to Bourton-on-the-Water begins a short distance away. The local bus stops at the central square and has regular service for the short ride to Moreton-in-Marsh and the National Rail station. All in all, the hotel was a perfect location to base our train/bus/walking visit to the Costwolds.

Beautiful little self-contained unit. Quite private with walking distance to the town of Portree where you find everything you need. Went to Eighteen Twenty both nights to see the same two fellas play the same awesome songs. Had an absolute blast both nights and a comfortable stay in the unit.

The apartment was perfect for our stay. We were a short walk from the venue we were attending for a gig. We got some sightseeing in too. Only wish I bad booked longer in all honesty. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was smooth.

The hotel was perfectly functional and comfortable, small room but everything we needed in a great location close to Manchester Piccadilly.

It was a bit of a squeeze but we were only staying one night so that was fine.

Bed was excessively squeaky, which made the dog bark a lot when turning. Which led discomfort and broken sleep.
Negative section of review
No doors close by to room to walk dog outside.

The staff were super helpful and accommodated extra requests like room changes and helping us with a second key.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The vegetarian option was just eggs tomatoes and mushrooms. It was quite greasy too..

Negative section of review
there was errors at check in, our room wasn't ready then they gave it to someone else, the bath nearly flooded as the tap wouldn't turn off, availability of breakfast was awful hardly anything there including plates for toast and breakfast, there was 2 socket in the room for a family that want to dry hair, iron and charge 3phone at the same time one socket it no where near enough, our last visit was poor too, lifts not working properly and no staff to check in, get a drink ir order food in restaurant, shame as we've always held this hotel in hi regard

The style

Needs sprucing up in place. Wardrobe should be secured against the wall!
