Perfect location if you have a car. The famous cows are nearby. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We hiked all the trails in the area. We're not hikers but the hills were so pretty so we had to explore. It's exactly what you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. The pub/restaurant are super nice. Food is tasty, a bit expensive, but it's ok. All staff was amazing. We can't wait to come back

The only issue is that the walls are paper thin and you can hear absolutely everything from the people next door. Apart from that everything was perfect. A dream location.

Bed was very uncomfortable and even broke during our stay, they did a quick fix. It says it has inclosed gardens for dog but defiantly NOT inclosed. At the back of the garden is a main busy road and had a gate open for our whole stay. Did not let our dog off the lead once

Hotel undergoing renovations, this was not explained when booking. I paid for two days of breakfast for myself and my partner. I was challenged on the morning of breakfast that I hadn't paid! The breakfast was of poor quality and not that much variety. I would have thought with the amount of guest it holds it would be better to have individual breakfast orders.

Very clean and lovely character. Great hotel and location right by the city centre.

Continental breakfast. Missing that choice of Beans, Sausage, Bacon...something a bit more hearty. Continental is good but a good old English breakfast choice never goes a miss. I left feeling a little unsatisfied.
