Very good pre-arrival communications from the host. Exactly as advertised. Lots of space. Newly renovated. All very clean. The full sized kitchen and the access to the washing machine were two key criteria for this stay. On street parking was typically available out front / nearby. It is a 20 minute walk to the City Centre / walls, etc. The host supplied some pastries, milk and a frozen pizza; which were all appreciated, as were some clothes washing capsules. A recommended stay to future guests.

As we knew, the bedrooms are upstairs. We then left our large suitcases downstairs.

A modern and tasteful fit out greeted us. Very tasteful decor with thoughtful touches throughout. The rear room proved quiet and peaceful and located only a few blocks from the centre of Edinburgh.

The location was really good, very close to a few bus stops, but also within walkable distance to main spots in London.

Overall, it was quite a place . Parking was no problem . Host was ok and instructions were very clear .

The room was clean, but as it was next to a busy highway, noise was bad . Windows needed dark curtains to sleep well and had very thing curtains to block out for sleeping. The toilet was dirty and had hair everywhere. Bath was ok, but I had to remove hairs from drain to take a shower so water does not stoop. There was not much available in terms of bodywash or shampoo, just empty bottles

No real coffee at breakfast, a cafeirtier is not difficult, We were on the ground floor and could hear the front door opening and closing quite loudly every time people came and went .
