The owner invited us to look at the stars through his telescope and was happy to talk to us at length.”

  Check in at 5pm is tool late. My particular accomodation Otter 3, was very very dated and was in dire need of a complete refurbishment, very strong musty smell. Most of the parking spaces are fine, but the one i was allocated was very difficult to park in, i can still smell the burning clutch,lol. Shame they dont spend some money on the place, as it could be wonderful, but i did enjoy my stay despite the above.

  The place is unkept. the floor were dirty. The room was in a mess.. and the outside surroundings were not clean at all. The sheets were also not clean. The table was in mess because it looks like someone used the room and there food remains on the table and the staff didnt clean it. The bathroom was also untidy with pieces of tissue paper all over the window of the toilet. The location was also not too good becuase its quite a distance from the nearest train station (Ashford). Another disturbing expericnce is i noticed some shady exchange between 2 men at the patio. I'm guessing exchange of drugs because the operation looked shady. There's also a reason why this Swan Inn is non refundable, so you'll pay online and you'll be forced to stay without any refund. Definitely not dreaming of coming close to this place again. Overall, it was a bad experience
