Located close to transport links. I was attending for a course, was perfect location. Bar lady who checked me in very friendly. Although a bad bathroom, and many marks and complaints, the shower was hot, and good pressure.

Room was not clean. Bed was poor. Well used depleted mattress. Camping springs to mind. Works going on in the car park, noisy all night. Party down stairs, noisy until late. Coming and goings, shouting from other guests. Room decor is 90's. No facilities for making a brew in the morning. Funny smell. Walls are falling apart, dirty carpet, marks all over the place. Poor poor poor stay and definitely not worth the price paid. I should of stayed in the van...

Stunning building with lots of love and care clearly gone into providing the top facility it is. Felt like home from home, Lynn & Pete are the perfect hosts and make a mean breakfast.

The post code given to us for the car park didn’t take us to the entrance so although we could see it we couldn’t enter, however there are plenty of car parks within walking distance.

We just love the location, it's an old building and yes it could do with an upgrade but we love it here. The staff are fab.

The hotel seemed quite tired and in need of some investment. For example, going up the main stairs from reception the carpet was threadbare with an ugly patch.

No good views. I felt it was wrongly advertised as a room with a kingsize bed. But it was supposed to be a bigger room a kingsize room??? I booked 3 rooms 2 double one kingsize all were fairly similar in size. All 3 had double beds not one kingsize and 2 double. Dont be fooled. The bathroom door didnt close and therefore didnt lock. The hot tap was difficult to turn on and off and the water scolded so it dripped. There was no bath mat so you had to hold the heated towel rail to get out the bath but that was piping hot. Not safe at all. The staff were angry on arrival. They were rude to me for paying booking.com and not them. They told me off. In the room the biscuits left were broken and not replenished when the room was cleaned.

I was tell then I have 1 year baby with me but they didn’t provide baby cot for something bed was too small and I was sleeper on floor and my wife sleeper on bed with baby
