Upon arrival, was met by the owner of the restaraunt. Guided me to the lodge (we were able to drive directly up to it, but weren't 100% sure initially) and was able to book us in for food (we arrived early evening on a Sunday). Got to the lodge and as well as it being spotless, there was a folder prepared for us with information about the property and local sights and amenities. Had a good chat with the owner who showed me around the other parts of the property as well as the adjoining foot/rugby golf courses. Was refreshing to not just be a lodger who was there to line the pockets. Aside from that, found the travel to other areas really easy and relatively quick. For groceries & fuel etc, a large Tesco Extra supermarket was only a 5 minute drive away, the coastal town of Porthleven was only 15 minutes away (with free parking after 4pm). Lands End and St Ives were barely 45 minutes drive away (avoiding small single track roads).

Wasn't long enough. Initially the sat nav took us past the entrance, which, if i'd taken 2 seconds to look, i wouldn't have missed.

The location was only a small walk away from the beach. It was close to the seaside bars/shops and play areas. It was close to a road but couldn't really hear this once in the property

The Place is great, the breakfast has many options and is good, the staff is super nice. Parking is also very close. Don't worry if you look for a safe way to park.

Bedroom a bit old school / price per night a bit too expensive. Also lobby could be a little refurbished. The view is pretty bad.

I had to complain about this property as it was rather disgusting. The management company did move me.

This place is like a dirty and tired student flat. The photos do not show this. The walls were dirty including with food mess, there was a sticky grimy substance on the curtains. Crockery was dirty. Cutlery in the drawer had old food on it. I had trouble getting in also. I was sent the wrong instructions and number of the property. I asked to move as I did not want to stay here.

My car was stolen....after I'd been warned to watch my car if I was staying in that area If only I'd listened. Was 2.5 hours away from home on a course with nothing but the clothes on my back and my mobile phone. All my ID, wallet, tools,...everything gone

The parking your car next to the caravan on this site was a bit of a paid the grass was went and the car sunk into the ground and this is just me being fussy because I have a lowered car normal cars would of had no issues because they could of driven around the dips certainly nothing I would be worried about if I was in a normal car

there was some noise on the night we stayed from around 1am-3am, possible local venue with a late licence. we've stayed before with no issues, we stayed on a different side that time. so that could be the issue. we also encountered slamming of doors from 830am-1030am, possibly the cleaners as it went on for some time - couldn't have been other guests.

I particularly booked this hotel to allow me enough sleep , As I had a late event in Manchester and an interview the next morning. However was woken at 6.30 with loud workmen fixing electrics outside the room meaning I had too little sleep . I needn’t have booked this hotel I could have got up at 6.:30 at home and gone for the train
