The room was clean & the bed was perfect. The room views were amazing & the breakfast options available we're better than I'd ever imagined. I've stayed here many times and I will continue to do so when I'm in Harrogate

One of the main lifts was out of order. It was a bank holiday weekend so it was very busy in the hotel. Having a main lift down made getting around the hotel and the sub level car park quite hard.

Room was old fashioned but had everything I needed and was comfortable. Really close to tube stops so getting into London was really easy.

I like nothing about the stay at all. Dirty, bad location, noisy, no hot water amongst loads of other bad points.

I was put in a double room even tho I booked and paid for a family room. I was then moved to the family room, upon entering the room, paint and stains all over the carpet, carpet had not been hoovered, bed hadn't been made and empty bottles sat next to the bed. Judging by the state of the front of the house and then the hallway entering to our room, I shouldn't have really expected anything else. All that was done to the room was a new sheet put on the double bed, the mattress was also filthy and the landlord changed the duvet. No hoovering or any other cleaning was done. It was advertised as having a double and single bed, the single bed consisted of a pull out bed to which it had only a stained sheet and no other bedding. I had to brush all the carpet myself and sweep in the kitchen and bathroom. There were holes and stains all over all the walls, there was a freezer and fridge in the kitchen, to which we food bugs crawling in it. To top it off I found a coach roach in the kitchen. There was also no hot running water. My 10 year old son had to have a cold shower. There was a TV in the room but had no remote or any TV channels on it. All night up till about 2230pm children were running around and loads of people all sat in the kitchen being loud using blenders and banging about. I later realised that several families live in this house full time also. I complained to booking.com and all the landlord did was message and ask what am I complaining for I have pillows. 2 pillows between 3 people ain't having enough pillows not to mention the rest of the complaints I had raised. I got about a total of 2 hours sleep having no pillow or bedding on that pull out single bed. At 7am the family that live there permanently in the room next to us, were back in the kitchen banging about and using blenders once again. Then on their phones being loud and shouting. This place is not fit to have any guests staying. This company is robbing people out their money.
