The rooms are great. The service is great and the location is great. I have stayed at Dakota in Leeds as well so kind of knew what to expect in terms of standard and was not disappointed by this hotel at all and would be my 'go to' hotel in Manchester next time I visit.

No one seemed to know where the hotel was despite the fact that it was a stones throw from the station. There should be a direction board somewhere in/near the station to point the way. (Like the Leonardo)

Clean cosy room. Very helpful, welcoming and friendly receptionists. Nice shower.. Right in the city centre. Comfortable big bed. Wo uld highly recommend for short stay in Oxford.

Kim was an excellent host and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was out of this world and the location was beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Not much to like tbh. One of the worst places I've ever stayed and incredibly rude, unresponsive team.

First thing we noticed was a terrible chemical smell coming from the room. It was so strong and overpowering. We told them and they said they'd sort it out but they didn't. Then we realised there was no hot water. Rather than change room, they just spent 30 min (at 1am) failing to fix it and then just gave up and made up have cold showers. We were told to email after the stay to get some kind of compensation/apology but they just blanked us as can be seen from the email thread I've attached below. Oh and to top it off, the place was dirty and hadn't been cleaned at all, layers of thick dust all around and it we suspect the bed sheets may have not been changed either!! Overall, ruined our stay in Manchester and the other places we stayed (Easy and Motel One) were far superior in every way and worth the extra money, especially Motel1.

This has nothing to do with the property. The guests in the room upstairs were so noisy ( this was from around 11pm to 3am) that i wasnt able to sleep
