  Lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful area. Bedding and towels included so less baggage in the car. Gavel cottage has everything you need and more. The garden is a lovely place to have a pot of tea and some quiet time. we were able to see the lake from the garden. Lots of wildlife, beautiful birds which we fed everyday. Lovely memories to treasure.

  Location was perfect as I was visiting world horse welfare belwade farm. Great to have milk in the fridge when I arrived so I could enjoy a cup of tea. Flowers from the garden in a vase was a lovely touch.

  Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in in my life. I travel for work so I stay in dozens of hotels on a regular basis. This was shockingly bad.

  One room I stayed in smell of sick. Had punch holes in the wall, had lots of furniture missing, had no Wi-Fi. The television wasn’t working. It had a floodlight facing the interior of the room and was next to a main road and the bed was hard and the room was filthy. Absolutely shocking

  Room was described as a refurbed room. It was quite nice. Bathroom still a bit scruffy- shower tray split, tiles need grout & towel rail hanging off wall. Wouldn’t have thought much of what are minor issues except for being told the room had been refurbished 🤷‍♀️
