The room was very well equipped and had lots of windows that opened up completely, so letting in fresh air was a breeze (no pun intended). The staff were all super nice and helpful. We hiked to the hotel and could reach it on foot quite easily. However, reaching it by car is really easy. The restaurant had good drinks and very good food. There were few vegetarian options, but all of them were very tasty.

Our room felt a little outdated, but there were lots of renovations going on around the place. So this probably will change in the forseeable future. There also was a really nice looking outside bar, but that was closed while we were there.

Sofa not too comfy and separate beds. We stood outside for ages and had no way of accessing the property. No instructions given just an address.

Rooms where small, dirty windows wouldn’t close, we were on the 6th floor and for the first 24 hours had a big bag of rubbish in the lift constantly and it smelled of vomit. My son’s room two doors down had scratching noises coming out from behind his bedroom wall all night. The fire alarm went off constantly and the following morning no apologies for keeping guests up half the night or any discount for breakfast by way of saying sorry.

Not enough wardrobe / hanging space. As it is a very old building the floorboards creak. We were in room 3 which had creaky floorboards, but the room directly above the noise was terrible. Obviously not the owners fault or indeed the occupants of the room.
