It was a good place to stop for an overnight stay as we were going to our sons 40th birthday party, which was just a few minutes down the road from the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, as was the toilet. There were coffee and tea making facilities in the room as well as the usual hair dryer and iron. So all positive. The receptionist was pleasant and quickly booked us into our room. As we were eating and drinking at our sons, we couldn't comment on the bar facilities at the hotel as we didn't use it that night.

In the morning, we were booked in for breakfast. Part of the hotel was reserved for guests for breakfast. We were shown to our table by a pleasant young lady who explained what was available and would give us a little time to decide what we were going to have. At this point, we noticed that the chair covers which were covered in fabric, were severely stained and grubby, so much so that I had to find one which was covered in a leather look material which was cleaner. Looking around the hotel bar area it was much the same, and it could do with a really good professional clean and sprucing up. Overall, the breakfast was good, as was the service. The cleanliness of the downstairs bar and resteraunt area is letting it down.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The location is right next to the Arena and the Stadium so convenient. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a bath & shower. All rooms were clean. There is a restaurant and bar on floor 3, both nice and a rooftop bar on floor 9, which was excellent. The hotel also has a gym & swimming pool for guests to use. A mini bar was also included.

The only criticism would be to put more milk sachets in the rooms for 2 people. There were a total of four between 2 people which is a bit difficult to make drinks with no fridge to use.

The breakfast options was varied with good choices, something for everyone. Close to the airport and no noise heard from the planes. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help, and the jar of fruit jellies was a nice touch.

The owners were really friendly, made us feel very welcome when we arrived, even swapped our room for a first floor as we had a baby with out even having to ask. Couldn’t of asked for better lovely hotel, we will be returning

Sleeping arrangement wasn’t the greatest, as have a toddler so we had to put one of mattress on the floor but it was fine :)

The location as it's local to KK's Steel Mill and its within walking distance so no need to find parking at the venue. It's a budget hotel with quirky decor, but suits our needs for 1 night

The shower pressure in Room 4 (Twin Room) was poor, unfortunately it was just a trickle when you turned it to hot.

Lovely, comfortable accommodation and just a short walk to the centre. We had our baby daughter with us and it was lovely and quiet and had everything we needed.

Room had very noisy plumbing, loud until about midnight. Could also hear the train tracks but that was quite faint and not a problem like the sound of the water running through the pipes.
