Although we didn't self cater the apartment seemed to be well equipped with everything you would need. All standard amenities except for aircon which is normal in UK. Various types of heaters to keep the apartment warm. Plenty of storage space and room to move. If coming by car plenty of parking available.

Had we came by car I would give this apartment a 10. For us as walkers location was a bit inconvenient about 20 minute walk from bus station. There is a reasonably regular bus service close to the apartment but we lacked the patience to wait in the cold prefering to walk.

Beautiful location and close to places we were visiting such as Pucks Glen, Hunters Quay and Dunoon. Easy to find from the main road. Beautiful location by the river. Lodge was clean and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable and cosy. Great communication from owners. We hope to stay again soon!

It was everything we were looking for, clean, comfy, great location but most of all the staff were fabulous and treated us extremely well. Everyone was friendly and helpful, we were very happy with our stay and can’t wait to book in again!

The house has good space and all of the amenities in it came pretty handy. The heating works pretty well, specially considering that i'm originally from a tropical country and i had no problem to survive during cold nights.

We were made very welcome with staff polite and professional but friendly. The accommodation was quiet. The bedlinen was nice and clean. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice fluffy towels in bathroom.

Furnishing in bedroom a little tired with scuffed furniture. There was a cracked floor tile in the bathroom and the bottom of the bathroom door was discoloured, presumably by splashes of cleaning materials. We couldn't find information on wifi and what password to use.

Kitchen and bathroom clean. Great location and felt very safe.

Shower terrible pressure. Couldn’t open blinds because of no privacy and right on street corner. Worst things were we had wet sheets for all beds and had to dry them with a hairdryer! Complained but no reply! Not very happy. Wardrobe was broken so couldnt use. Sofa bed that was apparently in main bedroom in description was actually a blow up bed!
