  The room was great, a good size, by the reception as requested (accessibility) and very clean. We had to push the 2 single beds together to make a double but that's not too much of a hardship. Parking was good but you have to pay for it wh8ich most hotels seem to be doing now. We had an evening meal there one night and that was fine. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the bar stay open reasonbly late to be happy :-).

  The breakfast wasn't great. Quite a limited choice for the 'full English' and the cramble egg was just awful but the evening meal was fine.

  Breakast N/A Location excellent, being able to park free and walk the short distance into town. Cosy, decor, good lighting, well equipped, especially the kitchen, very clean, efficient electric stove to top up heating when needed. Both bedrooms had ensuites. Plenty of mirrors and wardrobe space. Downstairs toilet. Free parking close by, patio doors into private courtyard and table and chairs out there. All of it really!

  We would have preferred a hand towel each , (not one per bedoom) for washing hair. A small armchair would be nicer in the lounge so a group of 4 can socialise better. The nice small armless chair provided was fine, but for a small person only. Parking for just one car limits us recommending it for 2 couples, and as 3 women we would have preferred either 2 single beds or a large double that can be split. FYI the single ceiling light in the larger bedroom is not working, but is not essential anyway.

  Delightfully situated within easy reach of Exmoor and the north Devon coast. Our accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfasts excellent. Nikki the housekeeper was very helpful. Unfortunately Caroline and George were away when we were there but we hope to meet them on our next visit which will be not too long away I hope!
