The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Great location, well appointed room but couldn’t use my balcony as the next door guests were smoking on theirs. Would have appreciated being told the room had an accessible bathroom at check in , with the option to move, as the experience was not a good one - basin far too low and no shelving for toiletries etc apart from the end of the bath where they got soaked by the shower. Beds were very hard too.

Excellent location and staff very good, happy to spend time chatting and providing information. Breakfast was pre ordered the evening before and you selected your time for breakfast. This was done to a) reduce waste by cooking food that was not required b) to freshly cook your breakfast and provide a great start to the day.

It was in a nice location, the tv in the room had a good selection to watch from the rooms are lovely and tidy may need a little maintenance but nothing too much

There was a slight issue checking in but was sorted relatively quickly, once in the room a few of the amenities seemed to be missing like a kettle/coffee in the room and a basic welcome pack to give certain information. Breakfast was odd it felt cramped in the small room and wasn’t expecting it to just be a continental breakfast was expecting a form of cooked breakfast.

Despite the building having key pad entry for the front door and each room the security in our room, room 3, was a serious issue for us. It was situated on the ground floor. When we arrived at the property the bottom sash of the window was half open. On inspection we found that this sash could not be secured as the receiver to the fastener was missing and the fastener was hanging off. As the external window sill is only just above waist level anybody at anytime could have opened the window and gained access to our room, bypassing the entry systems. We had to walk 150m to the cafe and report this and then return to the room to await a member of senior staff to attend. A member of staff from the cafe come to our room to look at the problem. At this point we made it clear that we were not prepared to leave our personal affects or to stay in this room with the window in this condition. Approximately 30 minutes later a man arrived with various tools and screwed the window closed so that it could not be opened. He did not apologise and as the other window in the room was fixed solid with paint, there was no fire escape or ventilation to the room. We believe that the management knew of this situation and were still prepared to let out the room which we find totally unacceptable . The wardrobe and the chest of drawers smelt unpleasant to the extent that we did not unpack our cases over the two nights we stayed. This is also the first property that we have ever stayed in where no shower gel was provided. The property operates on a no contact check in and no contact check out system. Your only means of contact is via the cafe and once this is closed at 17.30 there is nobody to speak to other than a telephone number which it states should only be used in an emergency. The cost of this room with breakfast is very expensive considering the facilities and standards of accommodation and parking available as there is no level of customer service what-so-ever.
