Already before the trip we were well informed by Wayne and Caroline about the stay. At arrival, Wayne and Caroline gave us a warm welcome and great advice about places to see and eat. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip so far. The rooms were nice and comfy, and the shower after a long journey simply perfect. A huge thanks to both for everything.

Very good location next to the city centre shops & short walk to the conference centre on the docks. Despite this, absolutely no street noise, which is amazing. Clean apartment. Comfortable bed & sofa. Parking (£9/day) underneath. Excellent, fast WiFi.

Minor negatives only. No oven gloves in the apartment. Had to check in online despite standing in front of the staff at the desk. Slightly odd placement of light switches. Would have liked a SMART TV to get Netflix, etc.

Absolutely lovely stay at The Cruachan Hotel. We last stayed here almost 30 years ago and it has had a major update recently. The hotel is very comfortable and well appointed and in a fantastic location close to the town centre with stunning views of Loch Linnhe.

Staff were excellent, large room very comfortable beds. Shower/bathroom was large and clean. No noise heard from other guests. Pool and steam room were good. Plenty car parking.

The photo was nothing like the accom we got - the picture made it look nice and comfortable - it wasn't!!!!!. Table had a wonky leg and didn't stand up at all, 2 very wonky chairs, pots and pans very scratched and dirty, walls in the kitchen above the sink and cooker were very greasy and dirty, all walls in the unit very marked, everything was very dusty, windows had childs greasy finger marks all over them, the vertical blinds were broken, toilet seat was broken, the heater in the bedroom didn't work, none of the clocks worked, broken shower head, the sofa bed was old and very uncomfortable, the mattresses on the beds were very very old, you could feel the mattress springs through the top of them, there was no cushioning, just felt like one layer of material. Worse bed we've ever tried to sleep in!! Scews on the walls where pictures should have been, and the pictures that were there were very tacky New York prints.
