The accommodation was quaint and unique. It was perfect for a two night stay. The view was really lovely. It was unfortunate that we didn't have time to relax on the deck to enjoy the view, as we were out and about till late each night and only came back to sleep. We were able to admire the stars as there was very little light pollution. The futon was perfect for a small child, but it did get in the way of walking around in the small space. This won't be a problem if it's just two people in the hut, as the futon folds into a sofa.

It was a unique experience to have to go outside to use the toilet, especially in the middle of the night, with owls hooting and squeels from prey echoing in the night air. I didn't mind too much, but my son wasn't comfortable going out to use the loo. It's beautifully done up and you wouldn't realise it's a toilet from the outside.

We enjoyed the visit. We are not new to Northallerton so we had a pretty good idea what to expect.

£96 for a Tuesday night in this was way overpriced when the ibis budget in a better location was a comparable price. It looks and feels very quickly and cheaply built to maximise profit - eg paint over the light switches, flimsy furniture, low quality sheets, half a roll of toilet paper only. At the price I paid I was also expecting shower gel and soap etc, even a tiny amount would have been fine,

Lovely clean and bright room. A tasty breakfast.

Parking was a bit of a lottery due to events going on but we found a space in the nearby multi story and could still register for free.

The rooms are dated and my bed was uncomfortable The bar ran out of beer so they lost that trade to the hotel next door

It was awful. Paint peeling off doors. Kitchen cupboard off and left nearby. No blinds in kitchen or bathroom. . Somebody needs to visit this property..
