Everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you for such a great stay! The bed was comfortable, and the property itself was impeccable! I've worked in hospitality (Hotels) for just shy of 10 years and I can honestly say this was the cleanest, best value for money room/cottage I have ever stayed in, and trust me, I've stayed in a lot in my time! I would like to thank you for everything, and if we find ourselves in Hay again for more bookshop exploring, we would book again without hesitation! :)

We liked the style of the property. Location - very quiet and not overlooked. Sonia & Bill are a really lovely couple - they were welcoming, and they take an interest in their guests. There was no shower, only a loose shower head in the corner of the bath but no shower hose?! Room was a bit shabby, curtains were torn. Didn’t seem very clean either because there was an old bottle cap on the floor for example. But the worst part was the noise. Someone (other guests? or even the staff?) was blasting music until 3am and after that they proceeded loudly talking and shouting at each other until at least 9am. Also the rooms were supposed to be non smoking rooms but could smell the cigarette smoke coming from several rooms.
