Coffee terrible, complained to manager who saved the day by giving us an extra shot to make the decaffeinated coffee acceptable. Good strong decaf is available in todays coffee scene. We have Starbucks coffee beans at home all the time, our decaf is excellent. This hotel chain needs to catch up with today’s coffee standards.

The property was a lot more spacious than we had anticipated which was a great surprise! Lovely big open plan dining/kitchen as well as a great sized living room. Having both a bath and a shower was great for us as it meant there was no queue!

The beds are the only thing that I could possibly comment on, could perhaps benefit from a mattress topper.

Besides the above ratings, I'd like to single out Becky for a special mention during both dinner and breakfast. Her friendliness, kindness and professionalism were a credit to the hotel. But we were delighted by all contact with its staff.

I must have had the noisiest room in the hotel. Situated on the ground floor doors banged at night and early morning. Considering I booked months in advance I found it extremely disappointing

As a 6 foot tall OAP with hip/back problems I found the low almost ground level microwave situated in the cupboard under the sink difficult to reach down to easily. It had loads of difficult to figure out digital displays too and small print on the front. Younger people would be ok I guess. I suggest putting [another] easy to use microwave with simple dials ....low meduium high .... and a simple timer dial .... at eye level above the kitchen unit on a shelf. I say "another" because smaller people and those in wheelchairs might find a shelf kevel one harder to reach.
