Lovely, stylish house with lots of personal touches - lovely goody basket when we arrived, but also really useful toiletries in the bathroom in case anyone arrived without. Lovely wee backyard with fairy lights for evening glass of wine (or coffee). Everything was really simple to use, no complicated instructions - and the check in and out processes were likewise. Very refreshing! And Ronan was a great, friendly, responsive host. Brilliant location, in a friendly neighbourhood near the Botanics and Ormeau park, but very accessible to the city centre.

A bedside light in the twin room would have been good!

Wow wow wow. Location in central Ludlow with everything in arm’s reach is perfect, cherry on top is the peaceful surroundings of The Stokesay being central but quiet. The parking situation is a dream. We loved The Kin for breakfast just 30 seconds away from the property.

Truly nothing comes to mind!

Every member of reception staff and cleaning staff were lovely! The room was very clean, as was the bar/restaurant area. The shower was amazingly powerful and plenty of hot water. The bed was a good size.

The bedrooms were very run down and FREEZING on arrival! There were two tiny pillows on our bed! We could feel every spring in the mattress. The heaters were ancient and took hours to heat the bedrooms. We had holes in our wall, which had been poorly repaired. Other guests were banging doors at all hours, and our doors were so badly fitted, it sounded as though it was our door being banged open and shut. We could hear every voice passing up and down the corridor. The hairdryer was ancient and not fit for purpose. The carpets were extremely worn and looked like they were ready to walk out the door! There was no lift.

Excellent location. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in an executive king room on the 10th floor which was nice and roomy and quiet. Breakfasts were good, plenty of choice and well stocked.

The history. Position in town. Friendly staff, particularly the receptionist. Toni. Female. The lounge was a relaxing area in which to sit.

The bedroom, although comfortable needs ‘refreshing’. Looks a bit tired.

Good but I wished it has more varieties to choose from.

I didn't like the fact that we have to eat same thing everyday

Large clean room and a comfortable bed

Paid for a premium room, it was large although very basic, the bathroom was clean although also disappointing, paint and plastic chipped off the window and a broken blind.
